Regrettably, I have had to make the decision to close the Music Room.
Too many people were are 'hotlinking' straight to my files on TarHeel's server
and are stealing too much bandwidth - for which I alone pay.
One of the worst is the search engine company DOGPILE.com, next worst is
YAHOO.com
They have linked directly into my files
and have (HAD!!) ALL of them available to play on their sites,
by-passing my site altogether.
They use my bandwidth in doing this and I just can't afford to
financially
support their
businesses by allowing their continued use of my bandwidth.
It's just like having everyone in your neighborhood
running dropcords into your home and using the electricity
they're taking from your home to run their own homes.
All at your expense.
Unscrupulous, unethical, dishonest, theft.
Shame on them.
To all of you who have enjoyed the music selection, I'm sorry I have to do
this.
